Use the tails to sew the Large Petals together in a circle, attaching about 1 inch of the side of each petal to the adjacent petal. Do the same for the Small Petals. Stack the circle of Small Petals on top of the circle of Large Petals.

Button center option: Sew the two flowers together with the button in the center. Cut the tails and weave in the ends.

Use a sewing needle and thread to attach the pin back to the center back of the flower.

Stamen center option: Create a Stamen as follows: Wrap yarn 12 times around a 2-inch square of cardboard. Use a 10-inch length of yarn to gather the bundle of loops at the bottom of the cardboard. Slip the loops off the cardboard. Sew the center of the bundle to the center of the assembled flower and spread into a circle.
