Even though pumpkins originated in Central America, the seeds found their way back to Eastern Europe where pumpkins quickly became a favorite. Bulgarians love the roasted seeds and the puree as a filling in pastries like banitzi. Poles love it in soup and pumpkin-sauerkraut muffins.
Pumpkin butter, as all fruit butters are, is low in sugar and simple to make, especially if you use canned pumpkin! It makes a great Saturday-afternoon project with the kids.

Pumpkin butter, as all fruit butters are, is low in sugar and simple to make, especially if you use canned pumpkin! It makes a great Saturday-afternoon project with the kids.
Makes 1 pint Pumpkin Butter
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 2 hours
Ingredients:
* 1 pound pie pumpkin, peeled and cubed or 1 (15-ounce) can pumpkin (not pie mix)
* 1/2 cup water
* 1/2 to 1 cup sugar
* 1 teaspoon cinnamon
* 1/4 teaspoon ginger
* 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
* 1/8 teaspoon cloves
Preparation:
Place pumpkin and water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low and simmer until the pumpkin has broken down. Strain through a sieve or food mill. If using canned pumpkin, omit this step and pick up below.
Combine pumpkin puree with sugar and spices, and choose one of the following cooking methods.
* Slow Cooker: Place sweetened pulp in a slow cooker with lid partially off to let steam escape. Set at low and cook, stirring occasionally, for 6-12 hours or overnight, or until thick enough so the butter doesn't run off a spoon when turned upside down.
* Microwave: Place sweetened pulp in a microwave-safe bowl and cook for 20 minutes at a time, stirring frequently until thick enough so the butter doesn't run off a spoon when turned upside down.
* Stovetop: Place sweetened pulp in a medium saucepan and cook over medium-low heat, stirring frequently, for 1-2 hours or until thick enough so the butter doesn't run off a spoon when turned upside down.
* Oven: Heat oven to 250 degrees. Place sweetened pulp in a heatproof casserole dish or roaster. Bake, stirring only occasionally, for 1-3 hours or until thick enough so the butter doesn't run off a spoon when turned upside down.
Place hot butter in hot sterilized jars, leaving 1/4" headspace. Cover with hot sterilized lids and rings. Process in a water bath for 10 minutes. Remove to counter and allow to cool before storing in a cool, dry, dark place.
If you don't process in a water bath, the butter can be kept refrigerated for up to three weeks or frozen for up to one year.

SUCCESS OF MARRIAGE
Once upon a time a married couple celebrated their 25th marriage anniversary.
They had become famous in the city for not having a single conflict in their period of 25 years.
Local newspaper editors had gathered at the occasion to find out the secret of their well known "happy going marriage".
Editor: "Sir. It's amazingly unbelievable. How did you make this possible?"
Husband recalling his old honeymoon days said:
"We had been to Shimla for honeymoon after marriage.
Having selected the horse riding finally, we both started the ride on different horses.
My horse was pretty okay but the horse on which my wife was riding seemed to be a crazy one.
On the way ahead, that horse jumped suddenly, making my wife topple over.
Recovering her position from the ground, she patted the horse's back and said "This is your first time".
She again climbed the horse and continued with the ride. After a while, it happened again.
This time she again kept calm and said "This is your second time" and continued.
When the horse dropped her third time, she silently took out the revolver from the purse and shot the horse dead !!
I shouted at my wife: "What did you do you psycho. You killed the poor animal. Are you crazy?" ..
She gave a silent look and said: "This is your first time!!!"."
Husband:"That's it. We are happy ever after.
Falling in Love

Falling in love is a great feeling and for those who are lucky enough to find their soul mates, life can be a bed of roses. However, there are some bad relationships, not all matches are made in heaven. Some can be good and then turn into dysfunctional relationships over time.
Oftentimes couples go through what seems like an eternal rough patch while being oblivious to the signs that their goog relationship is sliding toward a bad relationship.
It isn’t uncommon for people to hang on to what seems like a dysfunctional relationship with no future just because they had a great past. In fact this is quite a common phenomenon because we usually don’t notice the negative qualities of an individual during the initial “romantic stage” of a relationship.
If you are going through a hard time in your relationship but don’t know whether you should call it quits or not, here are the top ten telltale signs to let you know that you should:
1. You seem to be always frustrated about your relationship. For instance, you feel your emotional needs are never being met.
2. You find yourself looking for excuses to avoid spending time together
3. You are being abused physically.
4. There is emotional harm and abuse occuring.
5. The intensity and vibrancy of emotions that were present in the beginning are now gone. Now you only have memories about how good it once was.
6. You’ve compromised and sacrificed your beliefs, ambitions and core values in order to adjust to your partner’s needs, with the hope of eliminating the problems of your relationship.
7. You’ve completely and radically changed your appearance hoping that your partner will find you more attractive.
8. you feel hollow and a shell of your former self.
9. You’ve distanced yourself or totally disconnected from former close friends and/ or family members to accommodate your partner in your life.
10. You feel like your partner doesn’t appreciate anything you do or have achieved in life and is trying to undermine you every step of the way.
If you observe these signs in your relationship, then you should know that it’s high time to reevaluate where your relationship is headed. Perhaps the most practical way of doing this would be to make a list with two columns. Use one column to list the positive traits of your relationship and jot down the negative attributes of your relationship in the other. Take the time to come up with a concrete list in both columns. Once you are done with the list, see which column is longer in order to ascertain whether the odds are stacked against the survival of your relationship or there’s hope for you and your partner yet. By doing this you can view the entire situation in an objective manner. You then make it easier to end the relationship.
Thus, to conclude, remember that a relationship is supposed to bring joy and security to your life and not make an emotional wreck out of you. So, if you see all of the signs discussed in this article, it’s best to quit while you’re ahead.

An old man lived alone in Minnesota . He wanted to spade his
potato garden, but it was very hard work.
His only son, who would have helped him, was in prison. The
old man wrote a letter to his son and mentioned his
situation:
Dear Son,
I am feeling pretty bad because it looks like I won't
be able to plant my potato garden this year. I hate to misdo
the garden, because your mother always loved planting time.
I'm just getting too old to be digging up a garden
plot.If you were here; all my troubles would be over.
I know you would dig the plot, for me if you weren't
in the prison.
Love,
Dad
Shortly, the old man received this telegram:
"For Heaven's sake, Dad, don't dig up the
garden!! That's where I buried the
GUNS!!"
At 4 am the next morning, a dozen FBI agents and local
police officers showed up and dug up the entire garden
without finding any guns.
Confused, the old man wrote another note to his son telling
him what happened and asked him what to do next.
His son's reply was:
"Go ahead and plant your potatoes, Dad it's the
best I could do for you from here."
NO MATTER WHERE YOU ARE IN THE WORLD, IF YOU HAVE DECIDED
TO DO SOMETHING DEEP FROM YOUR HEART, YOU CAN DO IT,... IT IS
THE THOUGHT THAT MATTERS NOT WHERE YOU ARE.
That's Determination !!!

Blue Room
Decorating Tips
* An inexpensive way to give a canopy look without the heavy feel of a canopy bed. Often a child's room is too small to carry off a large canopy bed---but your kids love the look. The solution: rods are afixed to the ceiling and to both sides of the walls. Sheer white fabric is draped through the rods and puddled on the floor.
* Paint your walls and use white as the unifying color. Your room will pull together quickly.
* Quick trick using fabric. Here different cotton print fabrics are overlayed on a square piece of wood covered in a thin layer of batting. Pull the fabric tightly and staple. Contrasting ribbon is criss crossed and a button has been attached.
* This great piece of wall art does not match the bed covering but picks up the pastel colors of the bedding. Three small pillows, however, were made that carry those colors over to the bed.
Frames
Chef Frame
* Consider using our pink or shabby chic white scalloped frames and weave a dramatic ribbon for a similar effect.
* Find our frames on the Chef page. Available in shabby chic white and pink.
Frame With Ribbons
* Take a ribbon and weave it through a frame. The ribbon makes the frame pop and it becomes much more significant on the wall.
Princess Room
Decorating Tips
* Buy a ready made comforter and buy fabric in coordinating prints. A pastel plaid and solid pink were chosen for this room. Get a custom look for a fraction of the cost.
* This room is over the top. Three different patterned wall papers, coordinating pictures and signs, and a bed filled with princess pillows.
* Consider our Fairy Tales Do Come True Signs on the Princess page.
* By adding a ribbon and bow (with center flower), the picture becomes visually more important.
* Coordinating quilt used as a table topper.
* You can't quite tell but a sconce has been added to either side of the bed. To hide the unsightly cords, coordinating fabric and ribbon have been tied around the cord. A great trick when a room has not been pre-wired.
* When you put accessories on a table top, remember the rule of 3's or 5's. Here they used a photo frame, greenery, and a small glass clock
Dancer Room
Decorating Tips
* Color makes this room and the theme of dancing is set by the hanging letters above the bed. Find these letters on our site on the products page.
* A charming chandelier acts the the finishing touch to this room. Find similar chandeliers and lamps on our products page.
* Notice the single buttercup yellow pillow makes the bed pop.
Hot Pink Room
* There is an expresssion in athletics---Go Big or Go Home, in this room it is Go Bold or Go Home!
* Buy a mirror that doesn't match the furniture.
* They have used a decorative hook and painted it white to hang the mirror.
* Ribbon is used to attach the mirror to the hook.
* It's all about color in this room. White, however, is the unifying color which is used in the furniture and moldings.
* Notice the prints used above the bed. These frameless pictures are wonderful. No expensive frames or matting and no glass to break. The look is clean and crisp.
* Oosy Daisy Art can be found on our products page.
Girls Room
Decorating Tips
* How simple!
* The room is painted so you see the striking color contrast. You don't want white walls and white rods.
* These simple and inexpensive rods were painted white to match the other accessories in the room. Small bracelets, watches and key chains were added
* The rods are about 18" and the spacing is about 6". Visually you have filled up wall space with very personal treasures

Baby Shower - so pretty.
Here is one cool idea for baby shower party for mothers.You can decide to make her nursery a garden/ladybug theme or even anything else what you like.
we thought of ladybug as invitation .When the wings opened you saw the party information. Here it is...
Garden Party Ideas for Decorations
As centerpieces we used a Picket Fence box that held six planters with wheatgrass and one painted wooden tulip in the center, and we attached a wooden lady bug to the planter.
At the end of the shower each guest at the table got to take one of the planters home with a plantable butterfly shaped paper that you can actually plant and flowers would blossom.
We used thin Astroturf and cut it up to make place mats. We used Red and white polka dot plates and I made Flower pens for guest to complete the activities. Other creative baby shower ideas included flowers out of balloons that hung from the ceiling. A Banner that instead of reading "it a Girl" it read "It's a Little Lady."
The garden party cake was decorated with flowers and cupcakes circled around it with little ladybugs.
Garden Party Cake
Garden Party Ideas for Games
I am also not big on the games for baby shower so we limited it to activities and one game.
We bought a bunch of plain bibs and onesies and had guest decorate them with fabric paint and fabric markers. We provided fun foam stamps for the uncreative artists then we hung them on a clothing line to dry (which added to the decoration).
One of the creative baby shower ideas is to have a raffle.
We asked guests to bring diapers (sizes Newborn-2)to enter the raffle. (I received a galore of diapers) The winner received an Amex gift card. I also had a daisy cutout and guest had to write on the daisy any advice or thing their mom did that really made their life blossom (I received such beautiful stories and advice).
Then I had an alternate baby bingo game for gift opening.
Baby Bingo Game
The guests received a blank bingo card and there job was to fill in the boxes with guests names as they socialized. When the gift opening began, as I opened each guest gift, they would cross out the person's name until they got bingo.
Last, we gave each table of six, 3 gift bags with a CD I made that had all songs about daughters. Then I read them a story about the day my water broke and every time I said RIGHT they passed the gift to the right and every time I said LEFT, they passed the gift to the left. At the end of the story whoever had the bag in their hands won (it was a riot).
All in all it was such a pretty baby shower!

Management Success Tips
For me transparency is very important. I always do my best to keep my team informed, I want them to participate, I want their feedback, I never leave my team in the dark, especially when times or a situation is difficult. I know that it makes them feel as if they are a part of the solution and that what they say and think is important. I worked for many years with a manager who controlled me and never let me in on anything, I promised myself I would never be that way !!!
—MartineBerube
A Role Model...
I believe that a good leader serves as a role model to his/her team members. By showing them the right attitude and values towards work, they will unknowingly adapt the same attitude. What a leader knows doesnt matter much but by doing it is what matters the most.
Share the work, yet be leader
Do not make them feel they need to do the job because they have to, but because they want to. I prove to them my own motto, "one heart,one team,and two hands" to achieve the common goal. No harm in being a role model; sharing the workload in the beginning for the sake of encouraging them). Be a good listener, respect their opinions, share and explain yours. However,always remember one thing: You are the leader.
Your employees dont just work for you...
You work for them as well. Without your best efforts they will never be successful. If you don't care about them, they will not care about you. Take the time to ensure they have the tools to succeed. Make sure they are trained properly, and that they have clear direction. If they need something, say a day off, do your best to give it to them and let them know why if you can't. Find that thing inside all of us that motivates them and give it a spark. Some people want to be challenged, others want a sense of ownership, others just want to feel appreciated. When your employees see that you are working for them they will return the favor.
Do the distasteful stuff first
Don't wait until the end of the day, do the distasteful stuff first. After all, that's what you are getting paid for. Procrastination can ruin your whole day. If you handle that performance counseling issue, or that complaint first, the rest of the day will be a piece of cake. You arrive at work rested and full of energy. That's the perfect time to take on the distatsteful taste, when you're operating on all eight cylinders. Your energy and enthusiasm wanes as the day goes on and by 2 or 3 in the afternoon, you are not operating at your peak. Your success in dealing with any issue is directly proportionate to the energy level you bring to the situation. Don't hesitate, deal with it with that first cup of coffee in hand! You won't be sorry.
Start from zero sen
I managed to be a manager for a huge tuition centre in Mersing, Johor Malaysia. Beginning from zero I distribute my advertisement from newspaper stall. From that I got the money and I managed to pay all of my capital and shop deposits. Now I got 6 workers. My students are always rising in numbers. I am so happy. I can relax and teach only 2 hours a day and got multiple rewards. I sell beverages and nuts to my students. I am planning to open students library and english centre. Lets come to my tuition centre.
Leaders vs. Managers
Everyone has the potential to be a leader and a manager. A leader looks for innovation and CHALLENGES the status quo. A manager looks for order and MAINTAINS the status quo.In EVERY job function there is a time to lead and a time to manage. Help everyone to understand this fundamental concept and your enterprise will fly, and meet today's enormous challenges.

With a few basic techniques, you can create a wide range of looks by varying shapes, color, and decorative details. These snowman and snowflake pop-ups are decorated with glitter and glue, and inscribed with a fountain pen dipped in red ink.
Things You Will Need:
* Templates, enlarged to desired size
* Fountain pen
* Red ink
* Card stock
* Utility knife
* Glue
* Glitter
* Ribbon, optional
Step 1: Cut Out Figures
For the snowflake and snowman, trace template onto folded card stock, centering the image over the fold. Cut along shape with a utility knife, leaving it attached at the tabs. For the gift card, cut two parallel horizontal lines equidistant from the center fold on card stock.
Step 2: Complete the Card
For all cards, push the shape forward from behind while slightly closing card to crease the shape down the middle. For gift card, attach ribbon. Glue all cards into a larger prefolded backing.

Effective Flat Stomach Workout

An effective flat stomach workout targets a diversity of various stomach muscles and not just focuses on one. You perhaps heard some of your friends talk about doing around 500 sit-ups per day and brag about it. To tell you the truth, that is one of the most inefficient type of exercise one can make and that one I will be providing below is a thousand times more efficient than that.
Our stomach is not just one piece of muscle. All of these various parts must be taken into consideration when you plan to design a good and effective flat stomach workout.
1) Leg Raises – Leg raises target your lower abdominal muscles which are possibly the most difficult to develop so make sure you make additional effort and commitment when you perform them. Lie on your back with your legs extended and your arms on the side of your body. Very slowly, lift your legs a few inches off inches off the floor, still keeping them straight. Hold that hanging position for about 7-10 seconds then gradually bring it down. Keep doing this for about 8 times then move on to the next exercise.
2) Double Crunches – Normal crunches are not too terrible but with double crunches, you contract your muscles even more, resulting in extra work completed. Like on your back and position your hands behind your head. Take your body towards your kness at the same time bringing your kness towards your body, resulting in a stomach contraction in two directions. Try to do 10 of these and go on the next workout.
3) Ab Rollers – This one requires a tool. You need to locate something that rolls very well. I more often than not advise a round dumbbell that rolls easily. However, you might want to find actual ab rollers in the market if you really wish the actual thing. To start, assume push-up position, placing both your hands or your tool. Ab rollers ordinarily come with handles on them for better grip. Maintain this position by standing just on your toes. Now attempt to roll the dumbbell to your stomach, resulting in your body arching a bit. Break for a few moments then roll back to the original position. This exercise might appear a tad difficult to do at the beginning but in just a matter of weeks, you will be amazed of its payback. I propose doing just five of these and move on to the next.
4)Crunches from side to side – These will target your oblique muscles which are most often forgotten by a good number people to train. Assume a sit-up posture putting your hands behind your head. Bring your body upward like you would do a normal sit-up but as a difference, touch your right knee with your left elbow then back to your starting position. Replicate the same step for your right elbow and left knee. Replicate this for about 10 times.
Having completed all the exercises for one round, replicate all the exercises for 3 rounds, making certain to pause only after you have finished all four exercises. Do not break after each exercise like most workouts. Make sure you do all four workouts continuously. This will exhaust your stomach easily resulting in more work done compared to doing 500-1000 sit-ups per day. Follow this flat stomach workout in a number of weeks and you will be surprised of the results.

3. Add Salt and Curd to the batter. Allow the idly batter to ferment.
4. Heat Oil in a pan. Add Cumin seeds,Pepper corn, Gin ger powder and fry for a minute.
5. Then mix the fried items to the fermented idly batter.
